Beyond the Office: McCormick Stevenson’s Director of Business Operations Describes How Her Inspiring Resilience Led to Career Success

Barb Treubig is a self-described survivor. Her achievements, her drive to do the best she can every day, and her unshakeable work ethic are also among her many strengths.

As the Director of Business Operations for Paligen Technologies’ subsidiary McCormick Stevenson, Treubig feels fulfilled when she helps wherever she is needed.

“I work with all departments, and I assist whoever and wherever I can,” she says. “This role fits me very well because that’s what I thrive on.”

Her success comes as no surprise, as she has thrived throughout her life despite several unexpected hurdles, including when she received a cancer diagnosis, and when her mother passed away when Treubig was only 13.  Treubig served as a bookkeeper and controller before transitioning to the aerospace industry at AAR. There, she held roles in accounting, sales, and proposal development, as well as managed a $12 million product line.

“Just the fact that I’m surviving and thriving says everything,” says Treubig. “I’ve worked really hard to get to where I am and be who I am.”

Following her 20 years in the aerospace industry, Treubig joined McCormick Stevenson in 2023 and implemented McCormick Stevenson’s first ERP as Senior Project Manager. In 2024, Treubig was promoted to her current role of Director of Business Operations, during which she led McCormick Stevenson’s move to their newly constructed headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

In addition to Treubig’s professional success, she is the proud mother of three sons who have all served in the military. Treubig’s commitment to defending our country’s freedom extends to her role at McCormick Stevenson.

“I’m extremely proud of the company’s commitment to help our war heroes. I have the utmost respect for people who serve,” she said. “I enjoy my role at McCormick Stevenson because I am supporting our troops the best way I can.”

In addition to this noble mission, Treubig describes McCormick Stevenson’s office culture as a place where respect and putting others before self are consistently present. “There is no better group of people,” she said.
