Beyond the Office: Senior Subcontracts Administrator Highlights How Her Role Advances Company’s Overall Mission

Published on May 12th, 2026

As Paligen Technologies’ Senior Subcontracts Administrator, Ingrid Nunn wears many hats. Her work centers on negotiating and managing subcontracts- specifically their cost, risk, and contractual performance. As a result, Nunn’s role intersects finance, legal, and business functions.

Nunn’s position is also critical to Paligen identifying a specific service, skill, or product that will help the company achieve its mission – to provide superior technology and product solutions to its customers.

Alignment among Paligen’s team members achieves this mission in the most optimal way, and Nunn’s role is a key component to that process. “Each job function approaches the same issue from a different perspective, and I unify those voices into a clear path forward,” she said.

Nunn applies her skills and knowledge gained from her five years at NASA JPL as Subcontracts Manager. Following the conclusion of her role in July 2025, Nunn relocated from Los Angeles, California to work at Paligen.

It didn’t take long for her to feel at home. “I absolutely love it here in Tampa,” said Nunn. “I always came here for vacation, and at a certain point, I decided I wanted to live here.”

In addition to enjoying the area and daily work responsibilities, Nunn closely identifies with Paligen’s core values, especially Others Before Self. When she was a child, Nunn’s family welcomed foster children into their home.

“I missed connecting and uplifting the community in that way,” she said. “When Paligen volunteered at Feeding Tampa Bay’s Trinity Café, I was happy to start making an impact. It felt great to get back into it.”

Before her time at NASA JPL and Paligen, Nunn earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cal Poly Pomona, followed by a master’s degree in legal studies from UCLA. After her graduation, Nunn’s strong work ethic quickly began to form and continues to be applied in her role at Paligen.

“If I can make someone else’s workload a little bit easier – if I can go that extra mile to get something done – then I feel like I’m succeeding,” she said.

Employees with this drive, enthusiasm, and core values are at the center of Paligen’s mission. Keep up the great work, Ingrid!
